More Words I Learned from Bad-Ass Gangsters in Jail

Since everyone seemed to enjoy the words I learned from bad-ass gangsters in jail at Fraser Regional Correctional, I now bring you Part 2.

Fish: A first time prisoner.

Heavy: A tough person. Also used as a verb meaning ‘to extort or threaten’ – known as ‘heavying’.

Hoop: To hide something in your ass.

Cheek: To hide something in your cheek.

Mule: A guard you have paid to smuggle something in for you.

Beef: A concern, an issue, or a fight.

Kite: A message passed on by one prisoner on behalf of another.

Code Red: Guards’ code for a fight.

Code Yellow: Guards’ code for an escape attempt.

Code Blue: Guards’ code for a medical emergency.

Spank Bank: The place inside your mind where you store erotic memories.

Suzy: A not-so-heavy prisoner, he who gets stuck with the top bunk.
